The Ahrex SA250 Shrimp is an evolution of the NS150 Shrimp model from the Nordic Salt series, adapted and improved for saltwater fishing. This modification includes a slight change in curvature and a wider hook opening, optimizing its use for shrimp flies targeting bonefish and other species, as well as for bend-back designs. This hook recently earned the nickname "Shallow Water Clouser hook" from saltwater fishing legend Bob Clouser, testifying to its versatility and effectiveness in shallow waters. The steel finish (A-Steel) guarantees exceptional corrosion resistance, essential for aggressive marine environments. Available in sizes 2 to 8, the Ahrex SA250 Shrimp features a chemically sharpened tip with a small barb for fast, effective penetration. With adjusted quantities of 12 hooks for sizes #8 to #2, 10 for size #1, and 9 for size #1/0 per pack, this hook is perfect for fly fishermen looking for performance and reliability when fishing shallow-water species.
