Whiting Farms American Hen Soft Hackle Chickabou is an exceptional choice for underwater flies, offering two distinct feather types, each with multiple applications. This skin combines Soft Hackle and Chickabou feathers, optimized for efficient and attractive flies. Soft Hackle: The upper part of the skin contains two panels of full Matuka-type feathers, ideal for drowned flies. The feathers in each panel are mirror images of each other, creating balanced opposing sides on the fly. Used in their entirety, these feathers are perfect for Matuka and Sculpin flies, as well as shorter tarpon and saltwater flies.
