A mythical swimbait, the DEPS NEW SLIDE SWIMMER is clearly designed for stalking trophy fish: pike, bass, catfish, but also amberjack, are all part of its hunting roster. Despite its imposing dimensions, it is easy to cast. Its S-shaped swimming action is amazingly realistic. Totally silent when swimming to avoid arousing the suspicion of educated fish, even the articulated hinges of its body are precisely designed to make no noise. The NEW SLIDE SWIMMER retains all the features that have made it famous the world over, but with additional enhancements.

The body is now made of high-strength ABS, allowing new, more realistic colors, including transparent gradations under its soft silicone skirt. The hinges have also been reinforced to ensure absolute resistance to the repeated assaults of monsters.
Its swimming action has been further enhanced by a new process that allows water to pass between the body and the skin, giving it greater fluidity and a better response to jerks. A new spring effect has also been added to the tail movement, giving the fin a propulsion effect.

Another revolution is the addition of a "micro vibe" system in the head which can be triggered when the lure is twitched, creating micro-vibrations even when stationary. The new standard version is now slow sinking, but it is possible to add a ballast in the housing provided for this purpose to make it sinking.
