The HBR series includes three combinations of length and line class. The 305 cm #3 model is designed for nymph fishing, while the 250 cm #3/4 is intended for subtle dry fly presentations.

For nymph fishing, the HBR 10034 combines a length of 305 cm with a #3 line class. For dry fly fishing, the 8434 measures 250 cm and is rated AFTMA #3–4; Hends recommends it specifically for light-tackle grayling fishing.

The third version, the HBR 8745, measures 265 cm and is rated AFTMA #4–5. The carrying tube is not included.
