Blades

The Blades category brings together vibrating blades and accessories used to add flash, vibration and a visual signal to a lure. They let you quickly change the behaviour of a soft bait, jig, spinnerbait, chatterbait or custom rig.

Willow blades are long and narrow, producing strong flashes with a tighter vibration. They suit faster retrieves, clear water, active fish and rigs where you want to keep a smooth swimming action. Colorado blades are rounder, push more water and create a stronger thump, useful in stained water, low light or when slowing down a presentation.

Quick blades, trailer blades, screw-in blades and clip-on systems can add a bright target behind a shad, craw, jig or Texas hook. Placed correctly, a blade can trigger short strikes, create an attack point or make a lure easier to track through grass, edges and cover.

Choose by lure size, retrieve speed, depth, water clarity and target species. A blade that is too large can unbalance the rig; one that is too small may lack presence. The right choice adds attraction without killing the lure’s action.
