Sleeves

The Sleeves category brings together small crimp tubes used to build strong connections on leaders, traces, saltwater rigs and heavy lines. They help create a clean loop, connect a swivel, snap or hook, and secure a rig that will be put under pressure.

Single and double sleeves are chosen according to line diameter, material and required strength. They are often used with wire, cable, heavy fluorocarbon and rigs made for pike, catfish, sea bass, saltwater fishing or large lures.

A good crimp must hold the line firmly without crushing or weakening it. The sleeve diameter must match the real leader diameter, and crimping should be done with proper crimping pliers. Too tight, the line can be damaged; too loose, the rig can slip under load.

Choose by sleeve type, single or double, material, compatible diameter and intended use. After crimping, check the loop, alignment and strength of the rig before fishing, especially for powerful fish or saltwater setups.
