Additional weights for predator lure rigs

Additional weights let you adjust the weight, balance and sink rate of a lure without rebuilding the whole rig. They are useful on swimbaits, shads, shallow rigs, weedless hooks and finesse soft lures when you need to stay in the right water layer.

Adding a few grams helps fish deeper, hold better in current, stabilize the swimming action or correct a lure that rises too quickly. A lighter weight keeps a more natural presentation for wary fish.

When should you use an additional weight?
