Vision XLS Spool

An XLS replacement spool offers flexibility to anglers who switch between different line densities on the same setup. On the Rivermaniac, for example, it allows you to maintain one setup for dry fly/nymph fishing and another more suited to streamer fishing or light reservoir fishing. On the Meri, it’s particularly useful for switching from a floating line to an intermediate line or to a coastal setup that’s quicker to set up. Changing the spool preserves the same frame, the same drag, and the same overall balance on the rod. It’s essential to verify the exact reel size before ordering, as a #5/6 spool is not compatible with a #7/8 model.
