This Ragot braided line is designed for bottom fishing and for making trolling lines that require high strength. It is available in 100-meter lengths, in several diameters ranging from 1 mm to 2.1 mm.
The Lignes de fond braided line is used to make heavy-gauge rigs, particularly for trolling. All versions are 100 meters long.
The 1mm version has a breaking strength of 30 kg, the 1.8mm version 120 kg, and the 2.1mm version 180 kg. An intermediate 1.1mm version rounds out the available diameters.
This braided line is designed for making these rigs, with cross-sections significantly larger than those of a fine casting line.
