The Superb Predator 1090 is designed specifically for pike, zander, and catfish, as well as tarpon, snook, bonefish, and trevally in saltwater. Its Hexagon Graphene blank is fitted with three ANT guide rings and reinforced serpentine guides. The two largest guides are under-wrapped to protect the blank under heavy load, and the tip guide is reinforced. The black reel seat is saltwater-resistant, and the AAAA cork handle is hardened at both the butt and the tip. Red markings at 75, 100, 125, and 150 cm are integrated into the dark blue blank. At 9', it’s ideal for handling a #10 line and large flies; choose it when your #8 or #9 setup is truly reaching its limit.
