The SCVI-reinforced SCV blank at the butt section features titanium SiC guides and a super-grade cork handle. The reel seat combines nylon and stainless steel to accommodate a casting reel. An MH rod in this series is not equivalent to an MH rod designed for light fishing: compare the weight ranges in grams. When using a large swimbait or a spinnerbait, also factor in the drag felt during retrieval when selecting your power rating.
