The BK212 holds the bobbin in place during fastening and keeps the thread engaged between steps. The ceramic tip protects the thread path from fraying. Check the thread feed once the bobbin is installed: a smooth feed without any snags helps ensure even stitches. Remove any wax or varnish buildup from the guide, as the ceramic tip cannot compensate for a clogged tube.
