The body of the CVP is elongated and features a multicolored spotted pattern. The needle clears the eyelet when varnish or fibers block the thread’s passage. The cutting edge then trims the excess thread after the knot is tightened. The elongated shape and multicolored pattern distinguish it from the black CVF with a green dot.
