Designed mainly for Back Slide rigs, it is highly salt-loaded and can be used perfectly on classic Texan rigs (weightless or weighted) or even on TP. The Back Slide rig is used weightless to get under surface obstacles (Frondaisons, Herbiers, Pontons etc...). This rig frees the lure from the constraint exerted by the line on its nose, allowing it to spin forward (in the casting direction). The line must be returned to the lure so as not to slow it down and allow it to get to the heart of obstacles. In Back Slide, the Dolive Shot produces a subtle rolling action on the drop and its skirt will open at every twitch like a cephalopod or crayfish on the run. In classic weightless action, its swimming action is similar to that of the Dolive Stick but will resemble that of a forage fish. The Dolive Shot can be skippered beautifully and weaves through vegetation thanks to its shape and very supple tail, and is rigged with a n°3/0 Texan hook.
