The Aurie-Q Cloth features a laterally tapered head that makes it easier to change direction. Its streamlined weight design complements jerking motions and helps prevent direct contact with the bottom.

Work the lure with a short series of tugs, then let it sink back down before starting another sequence. Sizes #2.5, #3.0, and #3.5 vary the volume presented and the casting weight. Take advantage of the lure’s stable descent during pauses. The double basket of round hooks keeps the tentacles in place. Colored feathers help identify classic, phosphorescent, or UV finishes. Choose the color based on the desired contrast, and check the hooks after contact with the bottom.
