The Micromit Larves is designed for catching sand eels, sardines, smelt, and small mackerel. The series includes rigs with five or six hooks, in various sizes and line diameters. The model number specifies the rigging.
The 5H6 model has five No. 6 hooks on 0.35mm line. The 6H6 has six No. 6 hooks and uses 0.40mm line: so using the same hook size does not result in the same rig.
For the smallest sizes, the 6H10 uses 0.26mm line. The 6H12, 6H14, and 6H16 switch to 0.24mm line, with six No. 12, No. 14, or No. 16 hooks, respectively.
These rigs are designed for small saltwater fish, including sand eels, sardines, smelt, and small mackerel.
