The LIVE DARTER is a small plug with an ultra-realistic silhouette. It comes to life with “darting” or “darts”—that is, a series of sharp, quick jerks of the rod tip that tighten and loosen the line, creating wide-ranging movements of the LIVE DARTER from left to right and also up and down! This is a formidable and unique swimming action that drives perch, largemouth bass, chub, and trout wild and is sure to trigger their strike reflexes. Excessive hook movement can increase drag when retrieving a lure, potentially compromising the desired action. The LIVE DARTER brilliantly solves this problem thanks to its mechanism that keeps the double hook flush against the body to prevent any unwanted drag. The lure can thus retain its full action potential. The LIVE DARTER’s tail is made of tinsel, a flexible material that responds naturally to the lure’s action, giving it a natural undulating effect. In particular, when the lure reaches the peak of its “dart” and its movement begins to subside, the tinsel tail continues to undulate subtly. This lingering tail movement holds the fish’s attention until the very end, resulting in more strikes.
