The Illex Drifty Mellow 5.2 has been specifically developed for sight-fishing black-bass from well-marked positions (bank and cliff drop-offs, scree, submerged trees...) in Japanese reservoirs. During the test phases, our perch, pike-perch, bass and sea bass proved particularly receptive to this delicacy. This extra-soft lure with its highly realistic body (3D eye detail, raised gills and scales) imitates a small forage fish to perfection. It is fitted with an air channel to reduce its density and present the lead head and Texas hook in the best possible light. The integrated lip allows the lure to be slowed down for slower fishing and increases the vibration of its tail while accentuating the shimmer of its sides when mounted on a MAGIC TUNGSTEN ROUND HEAD. The lip can be trimmed to suit your needs and finesse set-ups to suit the conditions. The DRIFTFRY MELLOW 5.2'' is particularly effective for vertical fishing on pike-perch, for fly-fishing on sea bass or as a heavy drop-shot lure.
