Hends Line Floatant cleans the surface of floating lines. It removes dirt, which Hends notes can also have a negative impact on the lifespan of the rod guides.
The product also deposits a water-repellent film that repels water and improves the line’s buoyancy. This treatment is intended for floating lines; apply it according to the instructions on the packaging.
