Part of the latest generation of hard lures developed by GUNKI, the KNIFEHEAD is a “longbill minnow” that casts a long way! Its tungsten weight is held in place by a magnet inside the lure. It is released by the force of the cast, giving the lure a catapult effect and propelling it in a straight, stable line over long distances. Available in stunning colors, it swims at all retrieval speeds thanks to its precise design and perfect balance. This new GUNKI “longbill minnow” is incredibly versatile. It responds to the slightest “twitch,” stays on the hook no matter the retrieve speed, and comes to a sudden stop during pauses. Available in a DR (= Deep Runner) version, the KNIFEHEAD 68SP-DR sinks rapidly to reach its swimming depth. This is an essential advantage for slow, precise fishing for perch and zander “hugging” the bottom. During summer fishing in open water, its slender shape minimizes refusals, especially in clear water. The size 68 is recommended for small bodies of water and around schools of fry.
