The RERANGE 85 SP is a small, dense, and tapered minnow-style jerkbait that will appeal to freshwater and saltwater predator anglers looking to cast it long distances and against the wind. It retains all the features that made the two larger sizes—110 and 130—such a success: its tapered silhouette and flat sides, its ability to wobble off-axis, its pronounced roll that makes its sides shimmer, its “Suspending” density, its patented weight transfer system (a tungsten cylinder encased in a plastic tube) that optimizes your casting distance, and its deep, resonant sound. The smaller the lure, the more erratic, lively, and responsive its action becomes. These attributes give the entire RERANGE series an energetic swim action during “twitching,” “jerking,” or “Stop and Go” retrieves. This smaller size was developed at our request to perfectly mimic a medium-sized forage fish when predators (asp, sea bass, perch, black bass, pike, zander, and trout in rivers or lakes) are targeting small prey.
