Megabass Vision 110 R

The Megabass ONETEN R is a 110 mm slow-floating jerkbait developed as a distinct member of the ONETEN family rather than a simple cosmetic variation of the original Vision ONETEN. Megabass designed the R version to retain the sharp darting response associated with the series while producing a tighter, more natural action during a straight retrieve. One of its defining technical differences is the moving balancer system. The ONETEN R uses a single tungsten moving weight instead of the two-weight arrangement found in other ONETEN designs. Concentrating the moving mass helps the lure adopt a stable flight posture and supports casting distance, while the revised centre of gravity contributes to its tighter action on the retrieve. The lure is officially rated Slow Floating and reaches a maximum running depth of approximately 1.7 m. That makes it particularly useful over shallow-to-medium structure, weed edges, points and other areas where you want a jerkbait to stay in the strike zone without diving too aggressively. It can be fished with classic jerk-pause sequences, but it is equally relevant on a controlled straight retrieve when fish respond better to a less erratic presentation. The R family also includes deeper-running versions, so choosing the correct model should start with depth rather than colour. Use the standard ONETEN R when the 1.7 m class matches the water you want to cover; move to the R+1, R+2 or deeper versions when fish are holding lower.
