The Superb RS is machined from an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy combined with stainless steel. The extra-large-arbor spool speeds up retrieval and minimizes line memory. The closed spool cage prevents long, thin leaders from slipping between the frame and the spool. A unidirectional roller bearing controls the reel’s operation. Size 13 is suitable for the lightest setups; size 35 offers the capacity of a WF5F with 50 m of backing. Then choose the color—it has no effect on the mechanics. The six models cover, among others, #1-3 and #3-5; first choose the capacity that matches your fly line and backing, then select the finish.
