Its swimming depth of about 1.3 m serves as a guide for fishing along the edge of a structure or passing over a feature. The casting distance, line diameter, and rod position all affect the actual depth at which the lure swims. Start with a slow enough retrieve to read the water, then briefly pick up the pace as you approach a spot. The floating lure rises during the pause. However, maintain enough water depth to prevent the treble hooks from hitting obstacles.
