Gurza Egg Split Ring

The Egg Split Ring is used to attach a hook, treble hook, or assist rig to a lure without adding a traditional round split ring. Its egg-shaped design naturally positions the components in the most stable stress zone, helping to maintain mobility without creating unnecessary weak points. The treated stainless steel allows for use in both freshwater and saltwater, with rinsing required after saltwater outings. Tightly closed coils are important on rigs subjected to repeated friction, particularly when using braided line or fluorocarbon. A suitable split ring plier is recommended for opening the ring without straining the steel.
