The XPG series uses a four-piece Hexagon Graphene+ blank with a matte finish that is unpainted and unsanded. It can be up to 30 g lighter than a comparable conventional rod. The ANT/SIC guide rings are complemented by flexible and durable Recoil Titanflex titanium guides. On the XPG, the black hexagonal reel seat incorporates an exotic wood insert with a AAAA cork handle. The two guides preceding the tip guide are Recoil serpentine guides designed to hold leader loops around the tip. The #1 or #2 is designed for the lightest fishing; the #3 is the most versatile river choice, while the #4 and #5 are better suited when you need to carry more line or use larger flies. The line features 19 models covering lines #1 through #5; first choose the line size based on the flies and fish you’re targeting, then select the length based on the level of line control you desire.
