The #2 is suitable for the most delicate setups; step up to the #3 for more versatile use, and increase the length when drift control takes priority over maneuverability. The line features four models covering lines #2 through #3; first choose the line size based on the flies and fish you’re targeting, then select the length based on the level of line control you desire.
