The Superb XP features a four-piece HI-CARBON blank combined with NANO fibers. It is approximately 30% lighter than a comparable conventional rod. The FUJI SIC guide rings are followed by Recoil Titanflex titanium guides. The black reel seat features an exotic wood insert, and the handle is made of AAAA cork. The blank has a matte golden olive finish, and some models feature a small fighting butt. Opt for the #2 for finesse, the #3 for a versatile all-around rod, and the #4 when casting with silk line and larger flies takes priority. The line includes 6 models covering lines #2 through #4; first choose the line size based on the flies and fish you’re targeting, then select the length based on the level of line control you desire.
