Scientific Anglers UST Express Sink

Developed with Flyfish Europe for salmon fishing, UST Express Sink heads help get the fly down and slow its swing in fast water. The powerful taper turns over heavy flies, while the design reduces hinging to maintain a direct connection to the fly.

Shooting Texture helps lift the line from the water before the next cast. A brightly coloured rear marker makes the head easier to locate in low light, and the loops are reinforced.

Choosing the weight and sinking class

Match the grain weight to your rod. Sink 5 and Sink 8 indicate the sinking class, which is separate from the weight of the head. Consider both characteristics when choosing a version for your tackle and fishing conditions.
