The Wild Squid is an 8’0’’ rod designed for EGI and tataki fishing. Its 100-250g weight range is ideal for weighted rigs, and its highly visible hybrid tip makes it easy to track the tip’s movement. The high-modulus carbon blank is fitted with SeaGuide guides made of 316 stainless steel with zirconium ceramic inserts.
For squid fishing with a tataki rig or egi fishing, the Wild Squid combines a casting weight of 100–250 g with a visible hybrid tip. This tip allows you to keep track of the rig’s movement and bites.
The C-802MH and S-802MH models both measure 8’0’’, or 244 cm. The high-modulus carbon blank is fitted with SeaGuide New Concept guides featuring 316 stainless steel frames and zirconium ceramic inserts.
The butt section features a fighting platform. The power range depends on the rig used; it does not correspond to the Egi sizes of the jigs.
