Daiwa Certate SW G 2021 [EXO]

A genuine replacement for the Catalina, the Certate SW features the Monocoque frame, just like the Saltiga 20. This one-piece machined aluminium structure gives the Certate SW solidity and great sturdiness. The Monocoque Body also enables the reel to be fitted with a large Tough Digigear control wheel, with a large number of teeth for a significant gain in power. Another point in common with the Saltiga 20 is the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) ratchet brake, which is very sonorous, allowing the angler to adjust the knob with precision, not to mention increasing fishing pleasure. Sensations guaranteed!

Thanks to its ZAION carbon Air Rotor, the reel's rotation is smoother, lighter: a real gain in comfort for strong fishing enthusiasts. A Magsealed bearing in the pick-up roller and Magsealed oil around the reel's main shaft make the Certate SW even more watertight against corrosive salty elements. When retrieving, the spinning comfort is unique. When fighting, the roller offers perfect fluidity so as not to disrupt the progressiveness of the ATD brake.

Fast-ratio models (H and XH models) feature a soft-touch oval crank with great grip for calm, comfortable combat with the biggest specimens. The slower ratio models (P models) are equipped with a round EVA crank, particularly suited to vertical fishing. A perfect compromise between the Saltiga 20 and Certate LT 19, the Certate SW is a front drag reel designed for fast, active casting.
