Sunrise Top-Shot

Sunrise Top-Shot rods are designed for tuna fishing on both graze and livebait. All the rods in the range feature an uncut carbon blank with a smaller diameter than other rods of the same type on the market, and each model has been adapted so that all TOP-SHOT rods have the same curvature to work in the same way during fishing action. They are all fitted with FUJI rings using the ACID process, i.e. helically, so that the braid never touches the blank, even at the end of a fight when the rod is at its maximum bend. This assembly of the ring line, combined with TOP-SHOT rods, allows the use of braids from 60 to 130 lbs. THREE POWER RANGES: H, X AND XX H power rods are designed for fish from 40 to 80 kg and X power models for tuna from 60 to 150 kg. Finally, the XX-power model is designed for fish weighing around 200 kg and more. TWO TYPES OF ACTION : The TOP SHOT action model features a gentle action that allows you to go down in line diameter and fight fish comfortably. This type of action is available on the X power model. TOP SHOT PREDATOR models feature a more reactive blank for a quicker finish. This type of action is available on H, X and XX power models. THREE TYPES OF BUTT: Each rod model is available with a bent carbon butt, a straight ALPS butt or a Winthrop butt adjustable in two positions during the fight.
