Lightweight, durable, waterproof and ultra-warm, the Simms Challenger Insulated Bib Pants keep the cold and storms at bay so you can stay on your feet whatever the weather. Toray® 2-layer waterproof fabric keeps you dry with fully taped seams. PrimaLoft® Rise fabric provides maximum warmth and is lined with moisture-wicking polyester taffeta. Strategically placed abrasion-resistant panels on the back seat, knees and cuffs enhance durability, providing hours of performance in cold, wet conditions. Adjustable shoulder straps feature a breathable mesh harness for added comfort and a back panel for insulated, waterproof coverage. The YKK Vislon central zipper is protected by a waterproof storm flap to keep out the rain. Chest-high handwarmer pockets lined with brushed tricot for warmth and vertical zippered left chest pocket with YKK Aquaguard zipper. The belt features wide loops and a D-ring for the circuit breaker clip. Welded Velcro thigh pockets with reinforced clip sheath. Two-way side zippers on thighs for easy on/off of boots, with adjustable Velcro fasteners at lower hem. The lower legs feature an inner cuff to keep out water and snow. Fixed inseam length of 32" for all sizes. FABRIC TECHNOLOGY : Shell - 2 layers of Toray 100% nylon 70D waterproof with DWR. Shell overlays - 100% nylon 6.6 woven 2-layer oxford, 275 g/m², back seat, pillar pocket, knees, hem. Insulation - PrimaLoft® Rise insulation, 100 g for legs, 80 g for upper body.
