Explorer Tackle Line Dragger

The two aluminum tubes on the Line Dragger can be separated by unscrewing them and feature a rubberized surface. Each side of the line is wound around a tube to secure a braided-to-nylon or braided-to-fluorocarbon splice without wrapping the line around your hands. The L model adds a double rubber ring that locks the braided line in place. Tightening the screw adjusts its tension while tying a knot such as the FG knot. The S measures 105 × 20 mm and the L measures 140 × 30 mm.
