The Explorer Tackle Bobbin Knotter is an indispensable tool for jigging and casting! This ingenious tool allows you to tie the most resistant knot in the world between braid and leader (fluorocarbon or nylon)! (see photo above). The principle is simple: the braid is wrapped around the leader with a high tension preset by the knob. The multiple turns of the braid allow the force to be distributed over the entire surface of the leader, without the shearing effect usually encountered with this type of fitting. The result? A perfect knot with optimum strength (no loss of power). With unrivalled finesse, it passes perfectly through the rings. This makes it possible to have very long leaders. Ideal for casting, jigging and even big-game fishing (the connection can be over a metre long for maximum power distribution! )
