The Top Guide Protector prevents a clip or metal swivel from coming into direct contact with the guide when the line is stored. Its slot opens onto the leader without requiring the knot to be cut. The end swivel thus remains in place on the rod. The three sizes are S for light game, M for middle game, and L for big game.
