Hends Dacron Backing - Réserve de ligne

When a fish takes up all the main line, the backing takes over. Hends Dacron Backing is spooled onto the bottom of the reel and provides this line reserve, featuring a solid-core construction that the manufacturer highlights for its resistance to abrasion, particularly against rocks during the fight.

The line is available in two test weights, 20 and 30 lb, and two lengths, 50 and 100 yards. The correct amount depends on the space left by the fly line in the reel: plan for its bulk before filling the spool. Connecting it to the fly line requires a method suited to this solid-core braided line.
