The Egi X8 is designed for cephalopod fishing. Its eight Dyneema strands and R8 braiding provide a round cross-section, smooth casting, and abrasion resistance.
The Egi X8 allows you to cast jigs with a soft, smooth-surfaced line. The R8 construction maintains a consistent profile to facilitate passage through the guides.
Both versions are available in 150m lengths. The 0.08mm version has a breaking strength of 4.1kg, and the 0.165mm version has a breaking strength of 10.5kg. These two line sizes correspond to different power classes.
