The SFX 4 Carrier Braid uses four strands of Japanese UHMPE fiber. It prioritizes tensile strength and abrasion resistance, with minimal elasticity to maintain sensitivity to bites and lure action.
The SFX 4 is designed for fishing situations where abrasion resistance is critical, particularly when using large lures or near obstacles. The diameter must be appropriate for these conditions.
The 0.33mm version in 275m offers a breaking strength of 23kg. The 3,200-meter spools are available in 0.104 mm for 4.5 kg and in 0.128 mm for 5.5 kg.
These large, thin spools and the high-strength version thus meet different line-loading needs.
