Illex Big Backer Jig 54mm - 20g

The Illex Big Backer Jig 20g is a specially developed casting jig with its center of gravity positioned towards the rear to facilitate casting distances to easily reach well-marked positions or hunts. Its compact, pear-shaped body favours slow or fast, wide-ranging action. It supports rapid horizontal retrieve phases imitating to perfection a fish on the run provoking attacks from sea predators such as sea bass, pollack, mackerel, bonito, Spanish mackerel, tassergals,... Its sides are cut to accentuate its movements, the combination of colors and the shimmer of its holographic coating for a more attractive reflection. These features make the BIG BACKER JIG a highly versatile casting jig for on-board casting-ramming in marine currents, vertical jigging or shore jigging. The BIG BACKER JIG is fitted with an Assist Hook at the head with hologram foil and a treble hook at the tail.
