The Illex Night Shadows B 200 MH FG Fightback is a baitcasting rod designed for boat or float tube fishing. Made from a high modulus carbon-fibreglass composite, it offers an excellent compromise between sensitivity and vibration absorption, ideal for prospecting lures. With its extra-fast action, this rod is formidable for intensive use with surface swimbaits such as the Bonnie 95 or Chatterbeast 110, crankbaits such as the Cherry 10 CC, Diving Cherry 48, Diggle 2, 3 and 4+, and Aska 60, as well as lipless crankbaits such as the TN 60, TN 60 Trigon and TN 80. She also excels with spinnerbaits such as the Crusher JR. 10 and 14g, the Crusher 35g, blade jigs like the Crazy Crusher 10 to 21g, as well as buzzbaits. The Fightback even seems to have been tailor-made for Deraball fishing. This model also performs very well on heavy vertical fishing, as the integrated fibre in the blank considerably limits stalls, making it an ideal ally for fighting catfish in congested areas. Its power reserve and manoeuvrability make it a reassuring and comfortable rod for confrontations with big pike or bass close to foliage and structures.
