The THE ARTIST X5 B 210 M SORCERESS baitcasting rod embodies the essence of our expertise. This new THE ARTIST model was specifically designed for baitcasting from a boat or float tube. Its 2.10m length, fast and powerful action, and exceptional sensitivity make this rod an indispensable tool for anglers targeting perch, zander, and black bass. We designed it primarily for “Power Fishing” using lures such as surface lures (BONNIE 85 and 95); Minnow Jerkbaits (ARNAUD 100 F, BATTLE MINNOW 80 F & SP, SQUAD MINNOW 95 SP, RERANGE 85, 95, and 110 SP, RV MINNOW 110, SQUIRREL 76 and 79, TWITCH FLESH 75 SP...); Shallow Crankbaits (CHERRY 10 CC, MAGNUM CHUBBY 50...) or with “wirebaits” (spinnerbaits or blade jigs: CRUSHER Jr. 10 and 14g, BLADE BLASTER 10 and 14g, ...). During testing, it proved to be exceptionally effective for straight-line soft plastic lure fishing, whether using a “light Texas rig” or, more typically, jig heads: MAGIC SLIM SHAD 4 and 5, MAGIC CRAW 60 and 80, SCISSOR COMB 3.8''. We recommend using weights ranging from 3.5 to 10g. Its length, the speed of its blank, and its sensitivity blew us away when fishing for zander and perch using vertical techniques (MAGIC SLIM SHAD and MAGIC SWING TAIL rigged on jig heads weighing 10 to 21g). Its specialized X5 blank gives it unmatched lightness and balance. In addition to detecting even the slightest bite, the parabolic action of its blank when fighting large fish prevents the fish from coming off the hook while ensuring maximum feel. It is constructed from the top-of-the-line X5 blank, which utilizes a pre-preg process featuring carbon fiber oriented at three different angles. This THE ARTIST rod is lightweight, responsive, and powerful, delivering tenfold the pleasure and efficiency. It is fitted with FUJI TORZITE TITANIUM “K” series micro guides. Thinner and lighter, these guides enhance the transmission of feedback to the blank, optimize casting distance and line life, and eliminate any risk of line tangling in the guides during casts, regardless of conditions.
