The mechanism combines a pinion and a brass gear with 4+1 stainless steel bearings. The aluminum spool measures 32 mm; the carbon handle features EVA grips. The 6.6:1 gear ratio is ideal for steady retrievals; the 7.3:1 ratio offers a good compromise; the 8.1:1 ratio retrieves the line more quickly between casts. Be sure to specify which hand will turn the handle: use the suffix “L” for left-handed and “R” for right-handed.
