The Convector Line Counter features a line counter to track the length of line paid out while trolling. It is designed for lake fishing and light coastal trolling. Its Carbonite drag system is adjusted via a star wheel, and its spool is made of aluminum.
The Convector counter is used to track the length of line paid out and to recall a setting during subsequent casts. It is a useful guide for lake trolling—particularly for trout, zander, and pike—as well as for light coastal trolling.
The two versions available differ in capacity and size. The 425g model holds 210m of 0.40mm line and retrieves 63cm per turn; the 567g model holds 320m of 0.45mm line and retrieves 68cm.
The mechanism features brass gears, 2+1 ball bearings, and a double anti-reverse system. The Carbonite drag is adjusted via a star knob, with a maximum drag force of 8 kg or 9 kg depending on the version. The handle is equipped with an Ergo Grip.
