The NV120 is used to secure materials and prepare the bodies of medium-sized flies. This 120Den DOHIKU tying thread provides more material than a very fine thread and comes in a 100-meter spool.

The NV120 is best placed under a dubbing body, a chenille, or a nymph back. Distribute the wraps evenly along the shank to create a smooth base before applying this covering. At the head, a few tight wraps prevent unnecessary thread buildup. Choose the color based on the desired finish: tone-on-tone if the thread is meant to blend in, or contrasting if it remains visible.
