When we had the final prototype in our hands, the name came as a revelation, given its striking resemblance to a real Platypus. Since its creation by the famous designer Alla Christiansen, the Platypus has become "THE" lure responsible for catching the biggest pike in Scandinavia. Now we've responded to the demands of top specialists with a low-float model featuring perfect floatability. When paused, it will float quietly to the surface, triggering lightning attacks from the most wary predatory pike. It took me no less than 32 different prototypes, hours of testing and adjustments to achieve this result. A unique lure was born, with incredible swimming action - even at low retrieve speeds for wary fish in early spring, when the waters are still cold. At high retrieve speeds, the platypus action is simply incredible. I have no doubt that it will become a benchmark for tracking large fish in the future.
