Hends Beaver Dubbing is beaver fur prepared for fly tying. The fine undercoat forms the base of the body, while the coarser guard hairs give it texture.
This texture is suitable for large nymphs, pupae, and streamers. A small amount worked onto the thread allows you to shape the body while letting the long fibers protrude. The amount of undercoat determines the volume; the guard hairs preserve the fur’s irregular texture.
