This small size offers a discreet target when cephalopods are hesitant to approach a larger lure. Keep the leaders fairly short and spaced out to minimize tangling of the baskets. Alternate between gentle tugs and pauses while controlling the terminal sinker. A gradual retrieve maintains tension as the fish takes the bait. Check the rings after each contact with the bottom and rinse the rig with fresh water before storing it.
