The fabric provides a surface for the tentacles to grip; the Trick Hook basket completes the body. The rounded weight at the front helps deflect some strikes, but the hooks remain exposed when you let the jig settle among obstacles. The 5- and 6-gram weights require a light setup. Keep your movements small to maintain control over these small lures. The light-reflecting effects vary by color: choose a contrasting color to complement the size, without assuming that all finishes have the same phosphorescence.
