The Mitraflash Aurora uses iridescent filaments and small flowers to resemble tiny crustaceans. Glow-in-the-dark beads complete the five variations of this fly pattern. The versions differ in hook size and line diameter.
The iridescent filaments and flowerlets give the Mitraflash Aurora rigs the appearance of small crustaceans. The beads add a phosphorescent effect.
Each rig features five hooks. The smallest models combine size 4 with 0.35mm line and size 2 with 0.40mm line. Size 1/0 uses 0.50mm line, and size 2/0 uses 0.55mm line.
The heavier-duty versions use a No. 4/0 hook with 0.70mm line and a No. 5/0 hook with 0.80mm line. The change in hook size is therefore accompanied by a change in line diameter.
